Assistance and feedback

Tell us what you need

Call (516) 887-1605 or email tax@kpscfp.com to request help, an alternative format, or a different way to arrange an appointment or provide documents. You can also write to KP Stein, 88 C Atlantic Avenue, Lynbrook, NY 11563. You do not need to use the website form to ask for assistance.

If you are reporting a website problem, please include the page address, what you were trying to do, what went wrong, and your preferred way for us to respond. If helpful, tell us which browser or assistive technology you were using. You do not need to disclose a disability or medical information.

The office will work with you to identify an appropriate way to provide the information or service you need. Please keep sensitive tax and account information out of an accessibility report.

Our approach

Working toward WCAG 2.2 AA

Our goal is for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA (opens in a new tab). These guidelines help make web content easier to perceive, navigate, understand, and use with assistive technology.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. A complete conformance evaluation of the website has not been completed, so this statement does not claim that every page or interaction meets every WCAG requirement. Feedback about barriers helps identify where further work is needed.

Using the website

Features that support access

  • A “Skip to content” link appears when reached by keyboard, allowing you to move past the shared header. Pages use headings and navigation landmarks to help you find information.
  • Links, buttons, and form controls include visible keyboard focus styles. The navigation menu supports keyboard operation and can be closed with the Escape key.
  • The appointment form has labels, instructions, and text error messages. When validation finds an error, focus moves to the first field needing attention.
  • Page layouts adapt to smaller screens and browser zoom. Text can be enlarged using your browser’s controls.
  • The site honors the reduced-motion preference in your device or browser settings to limit animations. Informative images include text descriptions, while decorative images are omitted from screen-reader output.

Third-party features

Help beyond the page you are viewing

The Google Map, SmartVault document portal, and linked third-party resources are maintained by their providers. Their accessibility may differ from this website. We have not verified every feature or document on those services.

The office address and contact information are available as text on our Contact page without using the map. If a portal, document, or outside resource creates a barrier, contact the office so we can help arrange another way to access the information or complete the task.

For information about how website inquiries are handled, including accessibility requests, see our Privacy Policy.
